Monitor your server's status
This can be done in cPanel, in the left hand menu. Scroll to the bottom and find the link for "Server Status" or "Service Status".
This can also be done in WHM, in the left hand menu. Look at the top for a section called "Server Status" and click on "Service Status".
This can also be done in DOTNETpanel. Look at the bottom right section called "Status".
